To a point I agree, but I think people will always want certain information to be private versus public, regardless of whether it's sexual or not, frowned on society or not.

Quoth the police:
I like that they're saying "don't rape" instead of "don't get raped," buuuut...pretty sure "cute poem" is not the right vehicle for the message.
And the message of the poem overall, which seemed to be "if you rape, even if you try to blame the victim, you will get caught and you will get convicted, so don't do it."
Okay, the execution is beyond terrible, but the message is absolutely spot on. "Don't think you can take what you want because you want it." This pretty much sums up the male entitlement at the core of rape culture.
That's awful. But also, lets pretend you were adopted. Who goes up to someone, who, at that point, the believe has adopted a child, and tells them horror stories about other adoptions?!
Ugh. We can't win.
I have written about this before I will share some of what I have said:
Dummies! I saw Santa down at the mall for freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Suckers! I didn't even pay for any of the photo packages! Shove it up your butt, Santa Industrial Complex!
I think the fact that she started out by ordering native craftspeople to produce what she wanted and selling them at a profit was.... maybe an early indicator that she wasn't going to be the worlds greatest employer. :/
I've heard about this before. It's my go-to-story when I encounter particularly annoying hippies who complain that pregnancy and childbirth are "too medicalized" and we should just let nature do its thing, because natural = beautiful.
I'm only 7 weeks pregnant and if I didn't know that was true, I probably would have gone to the doctor by now because a) I feel like crap, and b) my period is super late. Actually, no, I wouldn't go to the doctor. I would assume I was pregnant and take a pregnancy test. Which is what I did.
Better late than never?!?!??!!!!! Why is the feminist answer to everything always ABORTION!?!?!?
19. A baby. This is so fucked up.
Sadly, the only punishment MIGHT be loss of their charter. For a short while. Otherwise, these assholes, otherwise known as people who murdered someone, will go on their merry way and not feel bad about it at all. Over time, it will become his fault for dying and not their fault for tackling him.
This allows for a particularly nasty game of chicken, where a lazy person sits back and waits for their partner to give in and do all the cleaning. Sorry. Nope. Not a way that people who are worth staying in a relationship with behave. Pick your own chores that you'll actually do and make sure they're a fair share.
This part killed me as well, what the fuck? I always make assumptions about people when i read this like, "you probably have never set foot in places like the one I grew up in have you?"
