I have 3 cats and currently fostering 4 feral kittens. I get scratched on the daily and I’m just fine because a) i wash/clean cuts after i get attacked (i mean loved) by kittens and b) I don’t let my cats/kittens lick my eyeball. Problem solved.

I’m fostering 4 feral kittens right now, actually. About to TNR their mama and hopefully socialize these little babes and get them into good homes. Because i have three cats of my own and i can’t get totally crazy and keep them all. I live in AZ not CA, but still.

They are both. The majority are feral. They are born in the “wild” they have no contact with humans. Go read the definition for yourself.

The answer to fixing this is easy. People need to give a shit. Don’t like stray or feral cats? TNR them. Feed them. They wont bother you or other wildlife.

Yeah i don't feel terrible for feeding Orijen because i know its good food, but I just want to get away from feeding all dry because i know its not ideal. My cats are such kibble addicts tho, they really just don't care for wet food so this raw thing might get tricky.

My three cats and our dog all eat Orijen for dry and Tiki cat (dog) for wet. I can't even tell you how much money we spend on pet food a month because its a LOT. But jesus, there are so many terrible brands of pet food out there that i just wont take my chances feeding anything lower quality. I wish i could feed them…

This. I was going to say D-Mannose is a life saver for me. I keep little packets around and get my drink of whenever i feel that annoying sensation of a UTI.

I'm lucky enough to have two great hens that give me amazing 100% organic fresh eggs daily. Backyard chickens are the way to go if you have the space.
