Saw Black Panther on Sunday and it is pretty damn good. Ryan Coogler loves his actors and has an amazing visual sense- the style the movie radiates is incredible and it’s not surprising that people really have responded to the Afro-Futuristic Wakandan culture.

Also saw Black Panther. After all the hype I’d done my best to avoid, not very successfully, I enjoyed it but not as much as the last Marvel movie I saw before: Thor Raganarok. That said, I’m looking forward to rewatching Black Panther far more.

I think the final fight fails mostly because the CGI doesn’t quite work. It’s all impressive, but I don’t think CGI has gotten to a point where it can do bodies in motion well. Rule of thumb for CGI (or any F/X really): it works if the audience doesn’t notices (or if they notice but they don’t really care). The car

I’m sure no one will see this because the story was posted 24 hours ago but...

Speaking of Night Court, have you seen Richard Moll lately? He is, in fact, the most interesting man in the world.

There hasn’t been an announcement yet for a 5th season of The Librarians. He was going to try to do both with Me, Myself and I. I think it’s possible since The Librarians is 10 episodes and his scenes are mostly in the Library set.

hes on the librarians if that counts and is not cancelled

Moon was worth a watch, I enjoyed it on NF years ago.

All I want to know is, does Sam Rockwell dance in it?

Eehhh, I’m about 90% willing to give that one a pass. Yes, he’s a trained killer who wouldn’t make a foolish assumption, but realistically, someone (who’s just been beaten to a pulp) falling off a 300-foot cliff is going to die. Eric can’t possibly know that T’Challa has plot armor. ;)

They were not Killmongers sleeper cells, they were Wakandan “War Dogs”, the spies they have inserted around the world to keep an eye on things, like Nakia.
The end result would probably not have been a complete overthrow of white poeple everywhere and an Wakandan world government, but more likely just a lot of chaos,

Politics Corner - Democratic candidate Linda Belcher won a special election for the Kentucky House by 36 points in a district Trump won by 49 points. Yes, you read that right. Her name really is Linda Belcher. (If that name isn’t familiar to you, you’ve missed out on one of the best shows of the last decade.) She won

I stopped reading after Kyle Chandler and immediately went and bought a ticket

Marsai Martin, Fishburne’s Black-ish castmate, would be perfect for this show.

(Not to mention the idea that Killmonger’s plan would never come off as he intended: I think the Avengers might have something to say about paramilitaries suddenly unleashing futuristic weapons all over the planet, not to mention that Wakanda, population-wise, is outnumbered somewhere in the range of 100-300 to 1. No

I think the intricacies of actually helping the world will be expanded on in Infinity War and hopefully Black Panther 2. Of course there will be problems with their integration, and I really want to see them.

They’re two of the most beautiful, charming people on the planet. Of COURSE they’re at least considering pairing up.

Is it still OK to complain about the pivot to video? If so: I would have liked to know their thoughts on the movie but I can’t normally watch videos. I will try to come back to this at a different time.

Just got home from seeing it and I’m still processing but I feel like it’s top 3 in the MCU hands down. Great performances from Chadwick Boseman, Lupita Nyong’o, and Danai Gurira. Letitia Wright steals the show — as T’Challa’s little genius sister -- but this is Michael B. Jordan’s movie and he’s a great villain, with

Killmonger is the best Marvel villiain. Thanos, you have been dethroned.
