When did the requirement become 12 consecutive hours between shifts, or does that requirement vary by state? Back in my theme park days (2012) in FL it was 8 consecutive hours between shifts which caused wonderful moments like getting off at 10pm and being scheduled the next day at 6am.

It wasn’t just you. They never want to take the CD back, and they’ll try to guilt or (more likely) intimidate you into paying for it with something like, “What, you don’t want my music?” or “You can’t spare $10 to support a struggling artist?”
