Counterpoint: There is no better snack food than chocolate milk.
milk in its natural state is my worst enemy, but cheese is my best friend.
I don't really like milk, but cream in my coffee, greek yogurt, and cheese are basically my main sustenance.
Counterpoint: Milk is delicious.
Tina Fey would disapprove the use of this GIF
Yet Stewart was much more believable than those asshats, and was more trusted in news reporting. I weep.
I have a feeling Bruce Springsteen will be involved.
I watched this over and over the day it aired, it was so damn good
Clowncone, you bastard motherfucker! I was barely holding my shit together, and now I'm bawling like it's the end of Babe. *sniffle*
If Colbert doesn't show up in Santa's slay to pick him up after his last episode I am going to be disappointed beyond words.
When Stewart took his sabbatical to go make Rosewater, I remember thinking "He's done at The Daily Show. He'll be there another year, tops." It was obvious he was getting restless, and I'm glad he's stepping down before it has a negative effect on the show. Leave while you're still great.
Very, very well said. I just want to thank the guy and tell him that he (and his protege Colbert as well) had the amazing quality of not only doing everything you said, but also making you feel like you'd love to be friends with the guy. He just exudes kindness, decency, and integrity on top of epic talent.
Jon Stewart deserves serious props, no matter your choice of political party. He's gotten in more shots on republicans than I could ever count, but we (republicans) are better for it and it's sad to see him leave. He also created a way to do the news that for a younger generation is not just tolerable but widely…
This really is a sad day. I am 22 years old and I have been more or less watching it for all 17 years. My parents have absolutely loved The Daily Show since its inception and I would hear them laughing constantly so that is what drew me to it. Obviously I was a kid and didn't understand 80% of the jokes but I laughed…
The real question now is: How can he one-up Colbert's goodbye?
I don't know if it's weird to mention or not, but I really appreciated seeing John look down at the floor as he spoke. I know it's kind of a weird thing to bring up, but I do the same thing when I'm trying to gather my thoughts... just look down and try not to focus on any specific thing while I organize the emotions…
Aside from that, I cannot unsee Carmen Baldwin Putin. That is real.
Wink, wink, I did say he smelled of Givenchy, if you catch my drift.
coldplay is teh worstttt
