Came here for a MBMBAM reference, am not disappointed.

I actually sent in an audition tape to be on that show! (I was in college, don’t judge...) And I realized while watching it that they must have intentionally picked idiots for more drama. Because I probably would have just...you know...done what I was supposed to do and worked hard. No one would have wanted to watch

“When I’m good, I’m very good. But when I’m bad, I’m better!”

And with Russia out of the picture, I seem to remember the US won a TON more medals than McDonald’s anticipated.

As far as I know that is a true story. There is a whole book devoted to the freakish deaths at the Grand Canyon called “Over the Edge: Death in the Canyon”

There’s a lot of hate for this show here for some reason. I too like it.

You have my vote.

Uhhh.. I’m gonna need a copy of this video. For a friend...

I will always star a Pete’s Dragon reference.

I will be itching like crazy for the rest of the day now...

Seriously....what was the deal with playing Stairway at EVERY dance in the 1990s???? Is that still a thing? Because it was always really weird when the song got loud and rocking at the end and everyone was still slowly swaying.

I came here to bring this up- at least we have a musical now! I'm going to see it next week and I have high hopes for it.

My boyfriend and I went to see the movie Zack and Miri Make a Porno back when it came out (I know, waste of money). Anyway, the only other people in the theater with us were 3 men...all sitting by themselves. I don't think they were there for the plot.

Holy crap now I want a raccoon dog.

Oh god, sounds like my 2nd grade teacher. If you asked "Can I go to the bathroom?" she would reply, "I don't know, CAN YOU?" (implying that we should be using correct grammar and say "MAY I") And then she wouldn't let us go until we used the correct words.

No just any author, but Anne Perry. Anne with an E. And many of her novels are set in Victorian/Edwardian times. It's all coming together...

I agree. I like the way LMM's characters just completely throw themselves 100% into friendships. Remember Pat of Silverbush? She was obsessive about her friend, Bets.

I LOVE VALANCY. And that rascal Barney Snaith...

Not to mention how awful it would make me feel about myself to have to watch (presumably) super skinny women flaunt their bodies in my face while I am eating a HUGE meal.
