HE HAD PLANTS?!?!?!

You think I give a huge crap if there are throw pillows on the bed? Or whether or not there is pot pouri in the drawers?

Yes, this. I live by myself so every mess is mine (or, occasionally, the dogs) and I get annoyed doing these things for myself. I can’t imagine the level of frustration I would experience if there were another person in the household who didn’t do his share. Honestly, it’s part of the reason I don’t date guys who have

Yeah, it makes me look like I’m about to puke all the time. It really brings out the yellow in my skin.

One of the things you can do for your daughter is step in and correct other men and boys, if you aren’t already. Start changing their minds and behaviors to create a better future for her.

It’s the caveat she had to put in to try to head off the “BUT WE DON’T MEAN IT THAT WAY” comments.

That had to be a disheartening experience for you guys. I try to avoid meeting athletes in my sport of choice outside of controlled environments just to lessen the chance of being disappointed like this.

Yeah, I’m a HUGE baseball fan and so many of the experiences in this article sound familiar. I find the atmosphere at baseball games less onerous than described here maybe because it is a more gender-balanced crowd, maybe because there are more kids, and maybe because baseball is just more laid back, but the comments

Something similar happened to me at a track day I attended in my new state after I moved. Even worse, it was coming not just from particpants, but from staff. They got an email from me afterwards and wanted to offer me fee credit, but I’m not interested in going back.

I wouldn’t say I’ve been treated with “nothing but respect” but HPDE are usually okay. And the instructors do seem to enjoy teaching the female students more. One of mine told me he requested me because he “didn’t feel like dying this afternoon,” which I thought was nice.

That’s been my experience as well, although I don’t go to actual races very often.

I LOVED her special. I was so sad that her show flopped, but it was so hacky. I really want her to come back with a Blackish/Fresh off the Boat style sitcom, because I thought she was so engaging and funny.

I think you’re right about this -- she needs to slow down a bit and let some of her material grow before taking it out on the road. Especially the first half of the special I thought was not worked enough, not sharp enough.

I felt it was okay, but not as good as her previous special. It did get better toward the end, though.

I used to work off up Public Square in Cleveland, which is the stand in for every European scene at the beginning of The Avengers. I spent the first half hour of the movie pointing out all the places I walked past to other people who also live and work there. It was pretty fun.

Yeah, but there are soooooo many children. I always get side-eyed for swearing at the minor league games.

The snackboxes on United are amazing (at least the Select box, which is the one I get). I legitimately look forward to it.

We did this in my middle school, and one of the key parts of the experience (for me and my friends) was the switching sides. It made us really confront how arbitrary it was that some people supposedly “deserved” better things than other people. It’s also really interesting to me looking back to recall how differently

What people often miss is that, according to Darren Wilson, Michael Brown ran away after trying for the gun, and Wilson gave chase. In other words, even if you believe Wilson’s story about the gun grab, he still pursued Brown and shot him down in the street after that. It wasn’t as simple as “he grabbed my gun and I

You and I are opposites -- I HATED them together. I just didn’t buy it, at all, and I think Nick is a terrible boyfriend.
