I like Rob Lowe, especially loved him recently on You, Me and the Apocalypse, but I couldn't make it through the second episode of The Grinder.

Wait a minute, there are people who watch stuff in real time? I haven't watched anything without my DVR in years. Even stuff I watch sorta in real time I watch via DVR, so I can skip commercials. I just start a few minutes late.
Mother Teresa died five days after Princess Diana. Her death wasn't completely ignored by the media, but it certainly got less attention than if more time had elapsed. I heard one journalist say that given the timing, the only way Mother Teresa's death could have gotten the attention it deserved was if Prince Charles…
You're an idiot. Requiring random internet strangers to understand and share your feelings and opinions, and to behave by your personal rules, is pretty arrogant. Somebody made a joke you didn't like? Fine, tell them so. Initiate a reasonable discussion. Do not expect them to change just because you're a special…
Doesn't seem like he's committed any flaggable offenses, does it?
My Brilliant Career, one of my all-time favorite movies. Judy Davis and Sam Neill were so great together.
I wondered about that. Thanks for weighing in.
I hope you can find somebody to talk to.

I'm not a fan of snakes. I can live and let live if they stay on their turf, but I cannot abide them in my home.
The discussion made me curious, so I did a little digging. I found several articles about that same CBS report and some similar stuff. Apparently they all have hard drives (and would have in 2003), and most companies don't bother to turn off the save function, encrypt the saved data, or remove or wipe the drives when…
I live in an apartment in northwest Austin. The water damage near my front door seems to have made a slug-sized hole somewhere, because I found one inside yesterday. Last week it was just a tiny snake, about a foot long but much smaller diameter. I can't decide which is worse.
I find it extremely hard to believe that a commercial copy shop would have its machines set to retain images of documents they scanned.
I like it!
I seriously doubt any commercial copy shop has its machines set to retain images of the documents they scan. Probably not legal, certainly not something they'd want their customers to worry about.
