I live in Austin, where Lance lives, and I have a friend whose husband is a serious cyclist. He used to go on training rides with Lance. He said he knew for years that Lance was using PEDs, and the other training partners all knew as well, and they were all amazed at how long he got away with it.

The figure most often cited when I was in college (in the '80s) was 1 in 4. So I have no problem believing that it's only dropped to 1 in 5 in 30 years.

I have a friend whose husband molested her daughter then committed suicide. I have a friend whose brother was murdered. I know a woman whose granddaughter was kidnapped. I know several women who've had abortions.

The operative word is "fantasy." If a woman fantasizes about being raped, she is in complete control of what happens.

Well duh, everybody knows that "funny" girls are fat and ugly and can't get laid. Rapists only like slim, sexy women, so the "funny" girls aren't at risk, so it's ok for them to joke about rape.
