States don’t have a lot of motivation to change their processes. Or money. They couldn’t get unemployment software fixed and that is a lot higher priority

Agreed, acting all smug about the PT is a terrible take. I was at the Detroit show when it premiered and it was a sensation. There are still a ton of them on the road, impressive considering their age. IMO it's better looking than the current Prius, among others.

Probably before your time but think back to how thefts of T-tops were drastically reduced...insurance companies stopped paying for used ones. Demand was almost eliminated. Not sure there’s a similar way to disrupt cat thefts, though
