Never thought that that was even a realistic option. Since there’s no easy answer, I think you either go with a female BP; or a totally unknown male actor. But I could also see someone like Mahershala Ali or John David Washington but I’m not sure an established star would want to be the one to take Boseman’s “place”…

They really should recast, I think. Superheroes are played by different actors all the time, and it wouldn’t erase the great work Boseman did in the role. T’challa was set up as one of the hearts of the MCU going forward. He still should be!

I think that realistically, outside the internet-nerd community (of which I’m certainly a part, so I’m not knocking it), feelings aren’t likely to be strong enough to be mixed. Most people won’t really care about his political or religious inclinations.

Disney+ also has the vastly superior Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes which is well worth a binge. There are some really long plot arcs, including Secret Wars.
