Dove invisible solid works great for chafing. I use it on my thighs when I want to wear a skirt. Would probably be great for shoe rubbing as well, and is probably much cheaper!

I have a bad cowlick up front too, and my stylist showed me a trick for drying straight bangs. It works great! This video is pretty much what I do, except I point my dryer down and to a side, and flip direction after 3 or 4 strokes of my hairbrush. Works great!
