Neutral: I bought a couple hundred dollars worth of food this to fill up my pantry, but that’s only because I literally just bought the place and needed to fill my pantry from zero anyway. One cannot live on pretzels and beer alone...but I sure did try.

I’ll keep living life with the usual, prudent, effective flu-abating measures. Sadly, it’ll be without any of the fun places to go since all this perpetuated panic (like this article) keeps leading to shutdowns.

This is the perfect SUV for your average car-less New Yorker to get the hell out of the city to avoid getting the Corona Virus. You can get a ton of canned goods, water bottles, and toilet paper in there to get you through the next couple of months. Breaking down in the middle of nowhere would be an added bonus.

It’s like finding a great price on a casket: you know it makes sense to buy it because you have to, but there is something that just prevents it from being a joyous occasion — this being you drive around in something that will depress any driving experience.

Being good at something, doesn’t automatically make you a good teacher or coach.

The problem most likely isn’t just in finding someone with the right cred, but also the willingness to be a teacher. And some ability to actually teach.

I own a 14 year old Ford Focus with 200,500 miles on it, my wife drives a 2002 Explorer with about 180K miles. I’ve pulled mostly bits a pieces for both cars, radio, trim, door handles, overhead consoles and the like. I’d think I’ve raided at least five cars for my Focus, maybe two or three for the Explorer.
