No one is making fun of anyone for being gay. Being gay is a nonissue.

I’ve been having a really, really hard time with all of this. If I accept these truths, I have to accept a very stark rewrite of my entire past— and I don’t feel like I can accept the new horrifying version of reality. That was.... actually bad. Good lord, no wonder I feel so cynical about sex.

Dude- try the audiobook, read by R. C. Bray. I love the book, and I love the movie, but the audiobook is truly where it’s at.  :)

Except the pepperjack! It actually does add a bit of zing.
