I understand that and you are right.
I guess what I wish for is that it wasn't presented to us as OK and acceptable behavior.

I have been re watching the seasons after binge watching season 3 I notice in rewatching that I fast forward through every Sol and Robert scene. You may be on yo something.

This episode I did not like.
The my back is out (of both of them) trope felt lazy to me. Best part of the entire episode was Sol and Robert under the table helping them through the interview.

In addition to the Cris Brown issues mentioned by the reviewer, I was annoyed by using Jack's reaction to the commercial as Dre's come to Jesus moment.
I am tired of people being OK with their actions and the potential said actions have to make things difficult for others and create stigma UNTIL it affects THEM.
As far

"and his victory drive home to get his swerve on…"
Even if it was to his weird girlfriend.

What I focused on was Grace's realization at the end of the episode, but, you are very true in that once again Frankie got her way.

Well said.

Agree, I couldn't live with her.

I ask because I visit there regularly and your avatar photo is so distinctive. There is a commenter there with the same one.

I laughed every time she called it "the pot". Grace is so square sometimes.

Yep, the fights have matured with the relationship. They have depth and meaning today.
They are also not borne from the "Grace is nasty and mean" perspective.

Third episode of which season? It matters in terms of the answer……
Based on your question, I am going to take a guess and say you are on season 1. That being the case, YES, for some of us it gets very funny and there are many laugh out loud moments.

I really liked that in this episode Bud called out Frankie for her behaviour.
We know Grace is written as the more difficult of the two and Frankie as the free spirit easygoing one, but, her tendency to draw a line in the sand of her righteousness gets exhausted.
I cheered when Bud said "Beacuse dad would always give

I don't think you post a lot, the crowd commenting on the reviews is a small one, it may just seem like that.

I remember in season one her being spoken of as alive. It was during a funeral they attended when Robert's sister (played by Christine Lahti) asked Grace not to come to whatever family event was upcoming because with the separation things were awkward and their mother would be there.
I don't recall the moment you

Do you comment in Haxland on WaPo?

Cool,
Thanks for not being offended by my request.

I enjoy your episodic favorite funny lines list. They make me remember and laugh.

Now that you know, how about editing your original comment to be fair to others? I've watched the series so it doesn't spoil anything for me.

Hollywood is VERY good at casting female actors who are contemporaries to male actors in age as their mothers.
