In as much as I am new to this show and just starting season 5, without knowing what comes next I can say that Fiona is exhausting at this point and I think I can see where the writers are hearing with her.

Frank and the way he is portrayed by the actor is a very accurate view of a certain type of alcoholic. Believe me, they ARE that self righteous, grandiose and narcissistic.
I got misty eyed towards the end of the episode with the scenes between a bloody Mickey and Ian.
Their relationship is probably doomed based on their upbringing, but, for that moment there was hope for them.
I don't think so; if I remember correctly, that kid had dark hair and was heavier.
I enjoyed Katsugi his first time around, even though his food was hit and miss.
This time, it seems like he's bought into his TC fame and is just insufferable while his food is stil hit and miss.
He certainly did say it during all star introduction.
I liked the first two seasons, they were quirky fun and managed to weave the stories in an interesting manner.
In my humble opinion, they seem to have lost the plot in season 3. I was bored from the opening to episode all the way to the end.
Agree with you wholeheartedly.
So very true.
There is a side story later this season that is worst in terms of what you mention.
Bellucci's lip syncing is very bad. I enjoy the character but as soon as the singing starts I have to look away.
In opera it's not enough to mouth the words, there needs to be an effort in vocalization and movement.
I will agree to disagree.
Kristen took the fall for that restaurant wars failure, she wasn't trying to be nice.
After all these seasons Top Chef is still run as a frat house.
The male chefs get most of the breaks.
Meat Failure (great moniker peejones) should have gone home. No one ends up in the ER for under baked dough.
Try eating undercooked pork. Plus I did not want his gross selfishness rewarded.
And this is why LCK has no value to me in terms of the show.
The most egregious season was Kristen's run.
She did not belong in LCK and was sent there to generate views and clicks. It was obvious that she would return and ultimately win the competition.
The fact that she is a great and deserving chef, doesn't forgive the…
Yes, that was the case last night. As the season goes on, that will not be the case.
No need to cover LCK as it's all about Tom's choice.
at times, he cant even give the BS explanation about the loosing chef with a straight face.
she was going home no matter what.
This is the one thing Top Chef SUCKS about, keeping around chefs who are meant to go, because they show a potential for drama.
At times I call the show "Tom's Chef" as it's clear that his fingers tip the scales in favour of whom he likes.
So very true.
Good point, I didn't look at it that way.
Thank you, I ha a vague recollection by wasn't sure bout the details.
