LMAO!
LMAO!
I don't think she expected warm, that came out during the argument, rather something kind which Lorelei still struggles to be able to do.
True, but at the age she was when it happened. I can see how it could affect someone for a long time.
I'd forgotten about that plot line. Good point.
I am going to have to rewatch that, I didn't even pay attention to the outfit. For one thing, it's red, not a color I would wear to an interview.
As I've watched her, my mind went back to the incident with Logan's father that broke her spirit and I wonder if we will discover in the next two seasons that she is still reeling from or never recovered from it. I also remembered Richard's outrage when her said "that man broke her spirit" upon finding out what…
Agree.
Rather than funny it brings to the front that a lot of the time both Lorelei and Rory behave in an assholery manner, it's just delivered so "cute" that at times you forget.
I've always felt that Lorelei was an ass to her parents.
Inherited from her grandfather?
I hope not Jess, I liked that relationship the least.
Plus the fact that her entire family took over Emily's home is a symptom of her grief.
The Emily of old, would never stand for that.
Paris would eat Lane alive…………….. hmmm, maybe not, Lane had to be cunning and sly to survive Mrs. Kim, she may be Paris' match.
Something I never knew I wanted until you suggested it. Paris as a lesbian, be still my heart AND sorry for the woman who falls in live wit her.
Lol.
She certainly has and her treatment of all her boyfriends has been appalling.
The Paul gag reminded me of that.
There are parts of Spring that felt like a lost season.
Of the three Gilmores, I've always preferred Emily. At the end of Winter it seemed like they would finally address their stuff by entering therapy, that plot line felt abandoned (for now), or used as a conduit for Lorelei's issues. If so, it's a pity because the…
Great opening review Myles, I m agreement of your take on the first episode.
Parts of it felt clunky and forced (specially at the beginning), but then settled into the show I loved in the past.
Thank you for pointing out the meanness in Rory's tratement of Paul. I can see where it's meant to be a running gag but, it…
I can actually buy that Shelly would travel with all the materials related to her one woman show. It's just self centered enough to fit with their overall behavior.
I didn't like the ending but Shelley is the only character I can tolerate on this show.
This ending didn't work for me at all, I don't see where it fit within the concept of the season.
Wish I had more to add.
You weren't alone, specifically since I don't think the song fit the narrative of "Shell and back" we saw earlier in the season when Shelly spoke to the group of women.
Unless I missed it, a very poignant part of the episode was nit mentioned. Colton calling out Josh on his actions, inserting himself into Colton's life with his parents (without asking Colton), and, his disingenuous attempt at Christianity.
It was very powerful and asserting of Colton to correct Josh when he said "I am…
