There may be great storylines in season 4, I am not interested in Piper and with Netflix it is difficult to fast forward through her scenes.
That's why I quit the show.

I enjoyed Sally Field's work and acting.
Can't say the same for the movie.

That would work for me if we saw less Piper but, she is still the lead character around whom many of the stories revolve. If it were a true ensemble, that would be different.
Netflix is not set up to make it easy to fast forward through, so I have to sit through Piper to get to the rest.

Piper became unlikeable and I can't watch shows where I dislike the lead. I was on the fence about season 4 but after the previous they released, I decided to not return.

Had no idea it was based on a book. Good to know the author knew that part would make no sense.
That is the most unbelievable part of the show, that the daughter would not know or suspect.

Yes, added to that the contrived twist with the friend's boyfriend and her hiding the truth from her daughter.
