Season 1 was fun and refreshing.
Season two was muddled and contrived, storyline the cycle felt repetitive and difficult to believe.
I won't be along for season 3.

I actually wanted them to raise him. Just to se what level of a sociopathic narcissist they would raise.
Agree without Zoila and Genevieve, the show dies.
The actresses play comedy off each other so well.

OMG!
I can't even begin to imagine the cluster f**k that will be.
Does the show's tone justify the comment above?
I make no apologies for Modern Family and as a matter of fact have quit the show. That being said. I stand by my comment.
Ditto.
Didn't work for me either.
For one thing, the episode was much too bright (lighting style) and, it took away from the grittiness that permeated Good Times.
The whole thing was off to me.
I noticed the same. I was looking forward to Diane's reaction to the upcoming competition in the form of a cute baby.
We didn't see the reveal to any family member.
I rolled on the floor with laughter during the final episode. When Grace asserted her use of a vibrator, coupled with Brianna's reaction, tears were running down my face.
For me, the fact that the Kings won't be involved, is the reason I plan to watch.
I no longer trust their ability to carry a show, but I would like the opportunity to watch a Diane Centric show.
YES !!!!!!!
Based on this schedule ABC will be getting a grand total of 3 hours per week on my viewing schedule (one of which is the reality show Shark Tank).
It is NOT looking good for them. This may be the first big lesson the new boss learns; fans DO NOT care who commissioned the shows they are watching.
I find it's both. Sol at times comes off weird when with Frankie or Grace.
I think the idea of two straight actors work, specially based on the premise of the characters being deep in the closet for so many years.
I am not sure that even someone as great as Ian McKellen could shed the comfort of who he is to come across as ackward as some scenes require.
What comes off to me, is the uncomfortability Martin and Sam have with playing each other's romantic partners.
I don't think any amount of writing can overcome that.
An incredibly good episode in the midst of a strong season.
Ha ha ha!
That was so good
I wrote about that in my overall comment.
Lily Tomlin's portrayal of Frankie's quiet devastation was hard to watch.
And a bit smug in their hipness.
