(c) that the scandal of her affair hadn't hit the news as yet, specially with the extra scrutiny on Peter at the moment.
The governor is in his apartment, presumably his security detail is swarming all over the building, the press that always accompany a sitting official somewhere close by, and his wife is free to

I too will miss coming here and reading the mostly smart insightful posts.
You were always one of the posts worth reading.

You are welcome, enjoy.

Baranski is the only reason I watch this show.

I think it's worth watching.
Check out all of it making up your mind as you go along.
Seasons 1 to 5 were superb.
Season 6 did not bother me, yet I have loathed all but 3 episodes of season 7
My point is that, you will not get a consensus here with all the diverging opinions, at it's core, The Good Wife is a great show.

Seasons 1 to 6 are on Hulu and free with Amazon Prime.

I can see where Jackie intends to never "see" her again.
Since she is divorcing her beloved son, from that moment forward she no longer exists in Jackie's eyes. Hence she no longer has to pretend to tolerate her and will act as if she no longer exists when she sees her.
Perfect Jackie.

I agree that the party was out of line, specially considering that for Howard's generation it would've been inconceivable to do so during a party.
More troubling to me was Jackie's comment after Eli and Marissa (the only eligible ones there) signed as witnesses of the event.
Jackie Said "my two Jewish friends" Good luck

It was not and engagement party. They were signing The Ketubah (marriage contract in Jewish Law)

No, you were probably the only one 😉
The party and dialogue, gave me nostalgia that it's ending.
When this show was good, it was something to behold.

I saw them getting married as a step by two people who'd spent most of their lives committed to work, deciding to give their personal selves a priority.
Diane even said when they discussed marriage and Kurt said they should wait, that she feared they would always be waiting.
Strange as it seemes, their marriage works

Whenever Jason and Alicia are on the screen, I fast forward.

Jason is just a vehicle for the King's to have a man for Alicia, unfortunately, he's the weakest character of all the potential love interests they have written.
Johnny makes a better choice than Jason. If it weren't for Jeffrey Dean Morgan's smile and smirk, the fans would be screaming bloody murder.
As much as it's

I think it is romantic and exciting at a stage in life quite different from where Alicia is.
It isn't even about age, but, her life as it is built and Alicia's personality, doesn't lend itself to that itinerant lifestyle.
I have a feeling, she won't take Jason up on his offer.
The Kings have said time and time again

I agree with much that was written.
To me, what killed the show was the King's failure to see that the strength of the first 5 seasons came from the show working as an ensemble.
When the decisions and direction of the show became about Alicia and only Alicia to the detriment of the core characters, the magic died.
As we

Considering how off this show has become, that's the least of the WTF's.
I agree with you, when he returned to the lab technician, I remember thinking, she's still at work?

Who would've thought years ago when the show began that we would get to a moment so simple yet so telling as the show winds down.
The look on Alicia's face at the flirtation between Diane and her husband in the kitchen, juxtaposed to what Jason just offered as an potential relationship, gives insight into where the

I am laughing so hard reading these after just heard them.

Thank you. That was very cool to read.

If it's true, after casting Archer is was the best decision they made.
Jessica IS Mallory.
