For a moment, I wish it was revealed that Mallory is Barry's mom. Just so we could see Archer loose it beyond belief.
Can you imagine him having to assimilate a sibling worst of all Barry.
We could have a season dedicated just to THAT and hit gold.

I love this show, I wish the first episode would've been 2 hours.

It's better than Naked

I think so.

Had the same feeling.

He lost Kim long before getting to the Cinnabon…………….

Good writing leaves us wondering and gives us the room to speculate about what we've seen and the nuances the actors portray.
When this show does this, it's a wonder to experience and it's what's been missing for a long time, specially season 7

That Diane has been dead in the writers room to make room for all Alicia all the time.
I rewound and watch the conference room scene several times.

I am sure t's not complete but it's been pretty accurate for the episodes I've checked it out.

That's the kind of writing that kills a show, it isn't necessary for such silly tropes to further the narrative.

IMDB has the cast list for the next upcoming episodes.

Good point,
Diane is usually the adult in the room who tries to strike a conciliatory tone. He may have forgotten or not realized that she is as ruthless if not more so than he is. To me, the quiet efficient ones are usually more dangerous than the blusterous David Lee's of this world.

I upvote you 1000 times for your comment. I am wholeheartedly with you about it seeming lived in and a relationship of equals.

Yes, but at the same time within that temptation the option to sell to her seemed logical.

Agree completely.

I interpreted the whole thing as he may have felt tempted while in Wyoming and realized that he would rather be with his wife.

Agree, he got more respect in this episode than most of the season.

I disagree with the reviewer on her view of Diane's storyline in this episode.
I liked seeing her humanity as a woman and a wife. If she were fueled primarily by jealousy and insecurity, the distance in their marriage wouldn't work.
They clearly love each other.

Best scene of the entire episode. Even the unflappable David Lee was gobsmacked by the tone of the meeting.

I watch this show just to revel in the disfunction that is the love / hate of Mallory and Archer's relationship.
Great episode
