If I were interviewing someone for a job and they started throwing things away off my desk, I'd be a little pissed. Who goes into a job interview and starts cleaning up after the person interviewing them?

Or perhaps this is nothing more than the result of confirmation bias. The first few times that this happened were likely nothing more than a statistical fluke, but because you now assume that people who accept the water will succeed, your demeanor towards those who accept is likely more positive than it is to those

It's not lying, but it's deceptive. People expect and deserve to be evaluated fairly—not with little tricks and gimmicks.

It was more that they combined a whole bunch of prostitute characters, rather than create one. I think that it was better. Instead of a whole host of disparate characters with very little development, they gave the audience a single character that they could develop and give a character arc to. How is this a negative?

Here is an excerpt of Drogo and Dany's early sexual interaction from the book:

Exactly, GoT is filled with uncomfortable gray rape, which is messy and screwed up...like rape. It can't all be cut and dry bad men doing bad things like Craster's Keep or the Dathraki and the Lamb Men.

I have to differ: Drogo and Dany's first time was rape in the novels, too. Even if Drogo tried to make it better for her, understanding the situation she's in, the whole matter of being sold into marriage against her wishes and then having sex against her wishes, that's still rape.

"Oh, Game of Thrones. Could it be we've gone a few weeks without a rape? Or should I say, rapes."

What're you talking about? You do realize that the new Sailor Moon is set to debut this July, right? As in 2 months away. That's 8 weeks. With over 200 episodes, doing 2 episodes per week isn't even going to finish in 2 YEARS.

Dude. Dude. I don't know if you realize how unbelievably shitty this is to everyone involved. Parading a new relationship in front of your ex just to get back at her is a huge dick move on your part. But it wasn't just your ex you were hurting. You dragged an innocent bystander into your relationship drama. Treating

Fictional novels aren't real life news stories. They don't "happen" on a time line that is available to the world. They "happen" whenever the person who is reading them reads them. So the "happening" is not decades old. The release of a book that gives away zero clues as to its story "happened". Many discussions

It's fine to be proud of that. It isn't fine to suggest that because people didn't want to spend their time reading super, SUPER long epic fantasies like LotR or ASOIAF, they aren't worthy of deriving enjoyment from these stories because they chose a different medium to experience them. You're not superior to people

I'm sorry you feel that way. But looking through the past week of posts, there are only three posts that start with numbers (not including this one, which like I said, has happened every Saturday for years)—and I'd argue all of those posts have substance. By contrast, there are more than three posts that start with
