Why exactly does the coefficient of performance of heat pumps decrease with an increase in the pressure differential? If you were using a heat pump where it was 100 degrees celsius outside and 0 degrees celsius inside, wouldn't that be a lot easier for the pump to do than if the outside was 20 degrees and the inside…
