I enjoyed the episode and think Jenna-Louise Coleman will be great as the new companion. It will be interesting to see how that whole mystery about who she is/was/will be plays out. But I was a bit disappointed that Clara died. I thought it would have been cool to have a non-modern companion for a while.

Nolan's involvement is a definite plus for me. I enjoyed 300, but Watchmen was a bit of a disappointment to me (I know others disagree) and Sucker Punch was crap. Of course, the fact that the Donner/Reeve Superman came out when I was a kid probably colors my thinking on this.

Okay, that actually makes me kinda wanna see it. But my expectations will still be on the low side, if only because Zack Snyder is involved.
