I have never seen Astro Dunks so that this is a thing is a real indictment on social media.

That looks worth watching. Unlike Disenchantment, it looks pretty funny and I love Spencer Grammer’s voice work.
I think Cuomo should resign, personally. And then he can work on his control and anger and misogyny issues. Then maybe run for dog catcher in a couple years. People in power, the people who can make the lives of those under them shit, have to be held to account before any chance at redemption. If by commenting on this…
Ideally it should be recognition of the problem, apologize to those that were wronged, try to do better and follow through on that, then everyone else can move on. But if just feels at times, from some people, that there is no coming back, and the Republicans love that and will reward and encourage shitty behavior, so…
PLENTY of people compared Franken and Weinstein at the time, I didn’t say anyone did here. I’m not talking about Franken as anything more than an example because he was the one used in the article. And I guess my ultimate point is not what this does to them, but what it does to us (me), how this desire to punish and…
Yeah, I know, but I wasn’t just talking about Al Franken. I still don’t know how I feel about all the allegations (trust women, yes, but this had an operational feel to it) and I wouldn’t want him to run again, but I’m more generally thinking about societal condemnation in the age of social media and 24/7 scrutiny.…
Does it, though? How much is enough? We all decide for ourselves, I guess, and for me, personally, I’m just wary about what the intents and goals are anymore. I want to believe (almost) everyone is capable of being a good person, even if they don’t agree with me on everything.
I’d go ahead and schedule the hearing but then cancel it the day before.
A photograph of then Minnesota Senator Al Franken pretending to grope Leeann Tweeden’s breasts while she was asleep certainly fueled calls for Franken to resign in 2017; but it didn’t stopped him from mounting an effective comeback tour.
Yeah, I get that. I don't mean I think it's bad, but since I have no experience with it, it seems weird. Especially choosing to do it 6 times!
GLaDOS. That is all.
I like FFXIV, and I got to near the endgame of Shadowbringers where you have to go fight the big fat guy but I kept queuing for a group to do it and not getting it and then a few days later Shadowlands came out, so I went back to WoW.
Crazy Taxi is a decent game made incredible with the soundtrack. I’m not a huge Offspring fan (I never owned any of their albums) but their music, along with Bad Religion (who I’m a huge fan of) feels like an indispensable piece of the game. Hell, the game makes those songs better, too. Any sort of spiritual sequel is…
I know this will be an unpopular opinion, but being old and childless, I just think having babies seems so weird.
As a solid Gen-Xer I know I’m not her target market, and I don’t listen to a lot of new music, but I really like her stuff. And of what I’ve seen of her in interviews and such, she seems like she’s got a pretty good head on her shoulders. I wish her the best and I suspect I’ll end up watching this eventually.
Wasn’t she in that Louis CK movie that got pulled after his me-tooing happened?
I honestly wonder if Whedon actually truly believed the things he was saying early in his career?
I just want to know if I’ll finally be able to watch old Colbert Report episodes without using the shitty Comedy Central web interface that only lets you watch segments, has no easy way to navigate to what you want to see and instead of playing the next chronological segment when one ends, instead skips to the most…
Clickbait title. You got my comment, so I guess it worked.
