The killer app.
The killer app.
It’s quintessentially 80s in the way a Patrick Nagel painting is. It completely embodies the aesthetic of the decade, but since the 80s were about slick bullshit, it’s pretty much just slick bullshit.
The Ghostbusters to Darkwing Duck transition really didn’t work for me, but the rest segued pretty well. I vaguely remember that Raccoons thing, but holy shit that seems really obscure relative to everything else.
I got into New Mutants because of Bill Sienkewicz and when I heard this was based on the Demon Bear story, I was pretty psyched. The Dani/Sam/Rahne/Roberto/Amara/Ilyanna (and then Doug and Warlock) lineup IS the New Mutants to me. I got out of New Mutants before Cable joined, so... I have nearly the opposite opinion…
I saw it in the theater. It came out the spring of my last year of junior high and besides me and my friend, there was one other person there. I don’t remember hating it but outside of the couple lines of that song about playing the accordion I barely remember what it was about.
Nah, seitan is pretty easy to make unless you’re trying out some strange flavoring experiment. It’s like boiling a loaf of bread. I made it a couple times until I found out I was gluten intolerant, and since that’s the main ingredient... oh well.
That looks like it could well be a match. We’ve got her now!
Enhance!
How (or why) did they make it look like CGI characters were filmed separately and green-screened into the same background? It looks really bad.
Um... what’s with the poofy shoulders? That blouse is all-around pretty horrendous.
Was it a mission to recover the president’s rubies?
So I foresee X suing for emancipation at 13 and then legally changing her name.
Were we supposed to be conflicted over who to root for? Because I was rooting for Caleb and Delores the whole time. (Well... favored them over stupid Maeve who was completely motivated by a made-up daughter she knows wasn’t real... I mean... WTF?) And Serac was just John Greer/the little kid that spoke for Samaritan.…
That’s a pretty good deal since I was considering paying her not to share them.
It’s a little surprising how straight up “Cheers-y” that clip feels. No overly cutesy line readings one might expect in a Mickey Mouse crossover.
I’m incredulous and delighted that someone posted those lyrics before me.
Pretty psyched for this. I really liked the book and it looks like they didn’t skimp on the production. And Wilson Pickett’s version of Land of 1000 Dances is just the cherry on top. Looks great!
Save the spiders! This is a terrible game.
I don’t care about the pictures, but one time when I was leaving an island, he said “let’s pack snack and make tracks” which is about my favorite thing I’ve seen a character say in the game.
Um... Sorry, murder has a statute of limitation of 10 years here in Colorado, there’s no way spoilers on a middling rom-com in the comments of an article about that movie is longer.
