I’m happy to see Frog and Toad here. My grandma used to read those books to my brother and me when we were little. I never had children but when one of my friends was having her baby she specifically asked for children’s books and I made sure to buy a little boxed set of the Frog and Toad books for her.

I just watched the first five M:I movies for the first time over the past couple weeks, and I was totally struck by how dated the first one felt. I got this on Netflix before streaming was a thing, heard it was such a tearjerker, was looking forward to crying and had a fresh box of kleenex next to me, and... nothing. Didn’t hate the movie, just felt manipulated and indifferent.
