@Cochese: Tanooki Suit Epic: Wireless Tether is fun too. PDAnet is cool, but after the trial ends you can't use secure sites.

Tried some Black Black gum. Very minty, but bitter. Interesting!

I love this headline, because it very easily becomes "Why, this lady has a Zelda tattoo!"

@Cooking Utensil: Sometimes it's sarcastic and sometimes it's a compliment. I haven't yet seen it used straightforwardly as an honorific, but I'm sure I will.

@Cooking Utensil: Also, calling people "sir". That sort of exploded on the Internet recently, somehow.

@MrGOH: It becomes the same conversation either way. "You're buying that CD? Laaaaame." or "You're buying that type of condom? What, for your mom?"

I have those Logitech speakers, and also from a dented box sale! Twist ending: the box was not, in fact, dented! Still great speakers, though.

@Neige: Yeah, true. I ended up buying a Friday ticket on eBay (for twice as much, because I'm stupid) and maybe I'll get one for Saturday as well if I feel like I need another day. I'm not going to be there for Sunday, but at this rate i'd have been able to buy 2 full 3 day passes for the price of one of my 1 day

Can't they just follow the ESRB ratings? Under this law, games otherwise rated M for Mature (17+) will then be restricted to 18+. It's just another year, and it's silly to codify it into law. At worst, the law will simply be confirming the ESRB rating, and that's assuming a game is rated AO. And, of course, nearly no

Either Mario 64 (at an EB Games kiosk) or Super Mario Bros. Deluxe (on a Game Boy Color, at home). Both all-time classics.

I'm looking forward to Fox News' take on this.

Looking forward to maybe playing this game at PAX. The graphics look surprisingly good for the Wii, as you said, but Team Ninja always pulls out some amazing results in that department.

It's only looking at the wall next to you because it is using telekinesis to make it crush you.

The only way to play it is illegally, with a ROM on a hacked system (has the Go been hacked yet? I haven't heard anything, but I haven't been listening very hard to the conversation). Reminds me of when the Assassin's Creed II authentication servers went down for two days IIRC, and the only people playing the game

I had to buy a one day pass on eBay, but I'm actually going to get to go to PAX this year through the coincidence that my family vacation this year is in Seattle, and the day before we leave is the first day. So excited!

@dkl415: In twenty years, all of those kids are going to come crawling back for beer money.

I could have gone (I'll be on vacation in Seattle from tomorrow until next Friday) but I didn't realize it soon enough to get a pass. I'll see about PAX East (but that's always incredibly poorly scheduled for me).

@Comandante_Tempestade: Chrome? Resetting router/modem? Disabling and reenabling the network interface? Using Google's DNS servers?
