@Michael Dukakis: It sold for millions, and then it sold for even more when they found out it wasn't paint.

Anybody remember those scratch-off Pokemon games? Those were great.
@Nethlem: From my understanding, it's because the audio chat backend for the Dashboard has changed considerably to support the new features from Kinect, not because they don't want people spilling any sort of legumes.
@Torgen got 99 problems but the PAXFlu ain't one: It's so rare to find actual irony rather than just "a coincidence".
@CalderMedusa: I remember that from xkcd, still funny though.
@Hazeman25: Also, like "Dignity Enhancement" which means exactly the opposite.
@Perequin:
@jayunreal (born free): Batman, because he's the only superhero who doesn't have powers. Superman doesn't even really have powers, they're just what his species can do naturally.
Found the PlayStation Network!
I liked the first and second films because they were schlocky and fun to watch, but I liked the third film because I thought there were genuinely some good moments and I thought that visually it was pretty good (especially the part with the infected birds)
It'll be good for a few years, the hosts will be genial, professional, intelligent, funny, etc. Then the morons will start in. And you'll get shows about people throwing up after eating a lot. And about boobs. Roughly fifty shows just about boobs. Not their use in gaming, just...boobs. Then, eventually every show will…
@Ogbert: Seriously, it's not like if I didn't have a PSP I'd be walking up to everybody on the bus and introducing myself formally.
@-MasterDex-: He's just a troll, let's all stop feeding him; who the hell knows how he got starred anyway?
@jandlecack: I have a 5.1 surround sound system (from an actual brand), a 50 inch plasma HDTV, and a PS3 and a 360. I can afford the "real deal". Doesn't stop me from owning both a DS and a PSP and using them frequently. Try bringing a Wii with you on the bus.
Clearly, the Amano drawing for this game depicts a Japanese gamer upon hearing about this system.
This is maybe the first celebrity to die that I really cared deeply about (I'm too young to remember Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Patrick Swayze, etc.) He was one of my favorite filmmakers and I'm going to watch Paprika tonight in his memory.
I bought Riven on Steam. It still holds up pretty well.
@Agentmage2012: Of course I don't. Who cares about what the developers want? Based on the first-sale doctrine, there's nothing they can do. In short, "the copyright holder's rights to control the change of ownership of a particular copy ends once that copy is sold, as long as no additional copies are made."
I love how a new Dreamcast can be easily purchased a decade from its release.
As long as downloadable games cost exactly the same as their physical counterparts, and as long as their resale value is zero, there will be a used games market. And as long as there is a used games market, there will be GameStop.
