Although I prefer Patti LaBelle’s version of Diane Warren’s hit—it’s in the right key!—this is my favorite of Celine’s songs, mostly because of how she hits those vamps at the end.

There are, if you see the Fashionista dolls in store, there are actually loads of face molds, their new pan pacific mold is actually really stunning. This is just a teensy selection of what they’re rolling out (I must confess, I’m a huge Barbie fangirl and collector)

You’re likely right on the rest, but she didn’t marry him until she was 26.

Oh my goodness...my mother had this! Emeraude was her scent—and someone must’ve sprung for that box one year because I remember looking through the costume jewelry she kept in it as a tween.

This was in my grandparents’ basement for us to play with until they sold their house. It seemed indestructible, at least in my memories.

Had the See-N-Say and the yellow shopping cart. I really miss simplicity.

this was my shit

My favorite is one of Rankin Bass’s lesser known titles: The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus. It’s based on the L Frank Baum book of the same title that gives Santa a really weird fairy-and-nymph-filled back story that’s technically part of the broader Oz canon. I look for it on television every year, never find

Hello fellow collector! I, too, have a lot of 90’s gals, although I took them all out of their boxes, because damn they’re fun to play with. Which toy show do you go to? I used to love going to the big one in Hackensack, NJ. Oh my god, it was like Christmas in July and March.

French country? I was way more into the contemporary Swiss Chalet look of the 1980s:

The most memorable (and my favorite) Christmas gift ever was the 1975 Barbie townhouse. I eventually got a camper and cruise ship but that townhouse was perfection.

Oddly, even though she wasn’t my favorite, it’s this Barbie that stands out most in my mind. She came with that bottle of stanky perfume, and the dress - it was adjustable! It wasn’t my absolute favorite Barbie dress, but it got a hell of a lot of play. I also particularly liked this doll’s hair because it was long

I still have this Midge from the early 90’s. Midge was my flygirl.

I had Wedding Fantasy Barbie. She was so beautiful! My dad bought two because there was no way my sister wouldn’t have wanted it. I think we had this one too.

I was so, so into Peaches N’ Cream Barbie! Something about that stole...

I was all about Super Star Barbie. Those earrings!

check it. Almost 20 years of Barbie Keepsake ornaments (not pictured are the last few years), one from my mother for every Christmas I’ve been alive. I’ve got the full collection now, from 1990-2015 when they made the last one.

She is a K-pop star that is part of the group 2NE1. She sings as well as raps, and sounds a little like lauren hill when she rhymes. This is my favorite song it’s kind of old.
