I’m from the Chicago suburbs graduated in 95. We usually started in late August. I don’t remember ever starting as late as after Labor Day. I do think CPS (Chicago Public Schools) do the Labor Day thing, not sure though.

Mindhunter is a Netflix series based on the early work of the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit. It is based on the book Mindhunter: Inside the FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit. Two agents interview serial killers to see how they tick. It is dramatized but some of what they show actually did happen. It’s a good show.
I really wonder what will become of her, especially when she approaches 30. You can’t play the baby/lolita/boobookitty whatever schtick for years. I think she has a decent voice if only she would learn to enunciate.
