Ok.

Ok then. Good chat.

Can you imagine all the q idiots? “That thing reads your fingerprints and calls the FBI!” “I heard it steals your DNA and transfers it to the Illuminati and Bill Gates!”

Well, if you consider “real world use”, it would still be more than adequate. What are most homeowner trucks used for? Commuting and the odd trip to Home Depot. If you have a utility trailer, this spec would easily handle it. If you need to pull a 20ft boat to the lake; again, would handily accommodate that.

Torque, my man, is where it’s at. This would still have plenty of it with under 200hp. I keep finding EVs I love more than the last one. This one ticks a lot of my boxes. If it hits the street with a 250 mile range or more, I’ll be looking hard!

When we bought our first Infiniti, we got a 2011 EX35. We drove the comparable Lexus, Acura RDX, BMW X3, some MB model I can’t recall, and a few others. The EX drove circles around all of them. Exceedingly so, in fact.

Whatever. More power to you. Not sure how glancing a few degrees off center instead of looking straight down is “not easily accessible”, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

I see an appealing alternative here. I mean, jumping in an old roadster is fun, but the info screen are far more useful.

Just because you seem to “need” an analog speedometer doesn’t mean the lack of one is “dumb”. All vehicles have a speedometer.

Voice control?

As of today, you’re correct. EVs are still not a practical solution for everyone. The goal is to get there, though.

Not double overall, only twice the amount needed for EV charging.

But that “majority” is growing smaller at a rapid place. If viewed from a nation wide perspective, the totality of EV charging and the impact on the grid still produces less particulate, CO2, and CO emissions that the same number of ICE vehicles. So, overall, the net impact is less.

I definitely see Volvo’s perspective in the elimination of ICE R/D. I imagine most Volvo drivers are at least interested in EV adoption based on their particular demographic. I’d love to see every manufacturer’s ten year plan with regards to EV adoption and ICE de-escalation. It will require a sort of generational

Some strong contenders, and I few I think are incredible (Clown Shoe is one of my all time favorites). That Consulier/Mosler thing is the least appealing to me. I mean, if I had to pick that or the Orachi, I’d be driving the fish.

If it happened to be an actual Porsche shell, it still wouldn’t be worth $35k in its current condition. It’s a glass shell made by a kit car manufacturer. I’m betting the owner is only listing it to placate a spouse.

Out of place, but a classic.

Yet another “If you don’t get rid of that damned car, we’re gonna have a problem.” “I just posted it for sale.”

In forty years, the first generation C8 with all the broke-ass buttons will be THE one to have! 😜

The sheer volume of undeniably wasted resources used to make this cruel excuse for entertainment? I mean, come on - who wants this when it could have so easily been the roadrunner and Wile E Coyote?!
