I truly hate the oversized badge. If I were shopping Benz, I’d literally pay extra to have it NOT light up!

Maybe aesthetically, but the S mops the floor with the Taycan when it comes to getting further. While not as visually appealing as the Porsche, I’d pick the Tesla every time because of the range.

I’d love to know the weight of this thing. I can see only one potential (probable) advantage of a well equipped e-bike over this, and that’s weight. You can throw an e-bike on a beefy car carrier. I imagine this will have to be carried in a truck or on a trailer which will limit how widespread its market is. There’s

I mostly agree. I really didn’t want to like this thing, but I can’t help myself. I don’t think it’ll have any appreciable impact on the Cybertruck since it’s just over half the price, and I also kind of like.

You’re unsolicited response read as though it came from a third grader, so I replied in a way you could relate with. And, tell your dad to stay in the closet next time. Things got weird when he started playing with my scrotum.

Your mom likes me AND my prick.

Ignore. Just another gasshole looking for any excuse to complain about any EV.

Sorry, but now you’re being pedantic. Yes, you have to follow an existing STC (you don’t have to foot the bill for time and expense of doing it all yourself since the relevant flowchart is already published). Yes, it is expensive - roughly half again as much as the suggested $40k Porsche overhaul; which is what I

As stated earlier, this particular airframe model has a history of using both standard engines. Existing STCs would be considered as precedent.

It shouldn’t as long as replaced with either the proper Lycoming or Continental already certified for the M20L airframe.

As long as it is an engine already certified in that airframe, I don’t think do. Both Lycoming and Continental made engines for that airframe.

Estimated overhaul cost for the Porsche engine is $40k. I have no idea how much research is behind that number (could be valid or it could be somebody got that as an estimate once and included it in the wiki entry), but the aircraft could be repowered with the correct Continental or upgraded Lycoming Turbo for a

Oh, but they do. This aircraft has relatively low time and is considered “high performance complex”, plus the Porsche engine is comparably fuel efficient. You’d have a hard time finding a Cessna 172 of the same vintage with similar time for a lot less, and you’d be cruising a full 60kts slower while burning the same

I see a lot of whincing about this being advertised on FB marketplace. Here’s the thing, it’s a Canadian registered aircraft. The maintenance process for aircraft is nothing like that for a car. Every bolt tightened has a logbook entry.

And they will. This vehicle is not for those people, just like there are thousands of vehicle model that don’t meet the needs of everyone. This is a further step in that direction by yet another manufacturer. In no world is that a bad thing.

There will be plenty of absurdity going down in November. Trump is already loading up his minions for a “non-transition” of leadership. Lots of pissed off morons with guns makes for a likely bad scenario.

Not gonna lie - this has been one of the biggest perks of having an EV for the past four years!

It’s almost like an EV might not be YOUR best choice.

I only like other people’s black cars. I’ve had my one and only.

Was interesting but overpriced at $25k. Then I saw the mileage. Buckets of nope here.
