Sorry, but I disagree. When Epic developers wrote versions of their apps for Android and iOS, they were required to agree contractually to the toc’s regarding financial obligations. Now Epic is tired of it. So? They have the option to suck it up or leave. They are quite literally wasting the time of a court of law by

But it fails to comply with the 500ft minimum clearance regulation.

I doubt they’re going to catch the pilot. They would have already done so if there was any positive visual record of the plane’s N number. They haven’t even published a basic description of the aircraft that I’ve seen.

But it was a known quantity when Epic signed on.

He knows. Clearly he’s being a dick.

Exactly. It’s not like apple changed the rules after epic signed on.

This is really the heart of the issue. I’m a day-one iPhone user. No desire to change under the present conditions. I’m also a less enthusiastic, but relatively happy iPad user. I play Fortnite occasionally with my son (who plays on more robust platforms). I hate that Epic has decided to use its mobile players as

I haven’t driven one in years, but I always enjoyed a traditional stand-up more than the sit-on models so popular today. Nothing feels quite like plunging head first into a wave and taking the control arm to the chest ;-)

I sincerely wish this topic was discussed far more often. You are correct - better education would directly and indirectly lead to better politicians. Better education among voters leads to better choices while better primary and secondary education will produce better candidates in the long term.

Yes, that is a thing of beauty.

Sounds like the future to me. Very tasty, quick, and smoky future...

DWSS - Down With Stupid Shit?

The vast majority (like damn near all of them) do pass rigorous safety testing. Just not here in ‘Murica because US dealers pay good money to lobbyists (and sometimes directly to elected officials) to limit competition from abroad. See “chicken tax” above...

Say it with me -

“Why?” Because that’s how “luxury brands” work. An Infiniti badged version would be dressed a little nicer, and possibly have a little more power/range, but it would be more expensive. Otherwise, the two brands become indistinguishable.

We have a QX50 (2018 - just before the redesign) and a LEAF. While I do think Infiniti needs an EV, this isn’t it. First, Nissan needs to hit with something relatively affordable. The Infiniti model would be $10k more, even though it’ll be dressed a little more nicely.

What’s better than fines? Community service. It levels the playing field (mostly) and actually, at least potentially, helps the community where an infraction occurred.

You’ve got me a little freaked out that my Klein might be valuable to someone other than me! I love that bike an inordinate amount. ‘92 or ‘93 Fervor frame. No fade, but the original gray metallic paint.

My take, also. I totally appreciate the work done and the clean presentation. I can’t imagine it’s worth more than about 60% of that price to anyone other than the seller. And that 60% is with all gauges and boibles fully functional.

Name aside, I quite like it.
