I have no viable reason for liking the i3 - except the interior. I love the interior, though. The considerably better battery chemistry and larger capacity make that model the one that seems the most appealing atm.

I like this and my ‘12 LEAF. I’m also a fan of the i3 for unknown reasons, but I wouldn’t have to be convinced to replace my LEAF with the VW.

Omg - I just posted that comparison too!!

Oh man, BMW invented a 2015 Honda Accord Coupe!!

Wow, I never thought the term “too Lotus-y” could even exist. I refuse to recognize your phrase :-).

And this is one of the most delusional, yet often used arguments that gets repeated. If you think you and/or your compound buddies are going to defend yourself from either the US military (or even a rogue branch) with your pathetic little sporting rifles, you really are delusional. The citizens of this nation no

I’m betting you don’t get an actual response because your statement is rational. Ammosexuals don’t typically respond to rational thought.

Just be aware that Alphabet is in the process of cutting IFTTT support for Nest products. My own experience outfitting a large home with virtually all Nest products as they were transitioning to Alphabet ownership has shown me that they are a company with no interest in keeping promises and assurances. Damn - good idea!!

That may be true today, but it cost me around $1200 in 1999 that I wasn’t prepared to pay.

For the out of town buy, remind the buyer that sales tax may come into play. Depending on rates where lives vs where he buys, it could amount to a big bill. For example, here in SC, if I buy a car out of state, I can pay by phone and the tax is capped at $400. A lot of states charge their full sales tax rate or have a

That’s a good idea. I get the feeling the owner isn’t concerned about someone making a profit, but doesn’t want to see the next buyer taken advantage of.

Two pronged, long term plan for me. I’m taking a diesel humvee for the first leg. I’ll be driving that around collecting solar panels and grabbing fuel wherever I can. Once I can build a large collection array, I’ll be grabbing a bunch of EVs to rip the cells out of to power my needs for refrigeration and whatever

Ouch - some dumbass probably paid about a grand to have that shipped to their local CarMax, and soon after realized it wasn’t the droid they were looking for. I miss them reimbursing the shipping. That made shopping for a car there pretty ok. I’m sure it was a costly proposition for them, though.

I know they’re more costly, but they’re also designed to meet military standards, and they’ll climb or crawl over damn near anything!

I’m sure these are fun, but I’ll take one of these 10:1 over the standard UTV - https://tomcar.com/tx/

A true horseless carriage, there.

I will always love all the TVRs - from scary/cute to scary/scary. Even the few scary/meh ones.

That’s good stuff, there :-)

Their intent is clear, sure, but I’d like to think that we live in a world where words still mean things. It would make the same amount of sense to call it the Taycan Banana and Banana Z. Which, by the way, I prefer.
