Guy sounds like a real shit stain.

That comment was a bit tongue-in-cheek, but I did suggest this action if the station wasn’t “busy”. People pulling into fuel stations smoking and/or leaving their cars running are posing a threat to others (even if that threat has been mitigated somewhat).

I have two of these. A red one for car gas and a white one for race gas. I want a reason to buy race gas again!

If it isn’t busy, I’d just ask the guy politely to use some common sense. If (when) he gives you the finger, simply walk over to the emergency shut off and do the lord’s work.

No. You have to learn every household members’ stain color.

Ooh - a bidet that shoots wax...

That should keep you fully occupied for the next...

“...pegged vaguely to butt stuff”

“...embrace bidets”

I gave it the NP treatment simply because it’s an air cooled, higher spec 911(ish). It probably won’t depreciate in the foreseeable future, and even if air cooled Porsche prices stabilize, any time you can buy a car and drive it some without losing money, that’s an ok formula.

Only one, and only on rare occasions -

Having been the victim of a proximity key “spoof” theft, I’d much rather have a secure device like my iPhone to connect when near than a key fob constantly blasting a short range signal all the time. I guess a physical key is still the benchmark in terms of security, but I hate proximity keys now - even though the

Ah, the venerable les Camino.

Exactly. This thing has the potential to be an autocross beast in the right (tasteful) hands.

“...runs well for its age”. There’s a subjective statement if I ever heard one!

So, the auction “wasn’t cancelled”. Did it sell for $17,000,000?

I had the same opportunity. I would most likely have wrecked it (based on my age and tendency to drive way beyond my abilities), so it’s better for history that I didn’t! Still, the car I came near buying is worth eye watering money now.

Performance. I’ve considered the 135 route, and may do that at some point.

I didn’t (and still don’t) consider any car an “investment”, except in terms of enjoyment:cost:time. I’ve always been a fan of small cars with too much power :-)

I just want a 1M. Is that too much to ask, dammit?! I kept looking at those things thinking, “Not yet. In a couple years I’ll be making more money and the payments will be easier.” One of the very few times I regret NOT making the irresponsible decision. That’ll teach me!
