Marion Morrison as Ghengis Khan. Even for the racial insensitivities of the day that was just horrendous casting.

So what you’re saying is that stunt people should also be paid more?
This is still one of the all-time great action movies, especially coming from a time when the action movie protagonists might get a little scuffed but never as beat up as McClane was. The sequels slowly turned him into a superhero which is why they were never as good as the original.
I would have given Fieri the benefit of the doubt because he’s proven he’s more than just the image he’s stuck with and people underestimate him for that image, but then I read the linked interview near then and yeah, fuck him.
The grey replying to me doesn’t seem to understand that no, it’s not a real life event, but that a story like this needs protagonists for you to root for and to care if they don’t make it to the end.
Until it’s time to get a rock octorok to repair a weapon and Tulin shoots it before it gets a chance.
Minor spoiler alert but the sequel asked too much in asking us to care what happens to the kids directly responsible for the contained virus breaking out again and causing untold deaths.
It’s more than just that. It’s also nice to not have more data to feed to the voracious maw of advertising. I know it’s inescapable online, but I appreciate that it ends when I log off.
Back when people were still taking Covid seriously, I had to go to the bank and there was a QR code in the window that you’d scan to get your place in line. It said if you don’t have a phone an employee could help you, but there was no way to get one’s attention without pounding on the window. There was confusion all…
I got lucky recently. Just went to my first event since Covid and the venue will still print out a ticket. I don’t know how much longer that will last.
I’d mock him except I don’t have a mobile device at all. I love that I can walk out of my door and nobody can reach me.
The Cameron siblings suck.
Another clue for Chris is by looking at him and being aware of what Donnie Osmond looks like.
There seems to be a whole bunch of unrealistic expectations on both sides considering how big the galaxy is. Unpopulated habitable planets must still be pretty rare, even with as many alien species as we see in the MCU, maybe especially so.
I’ve got no problem with sequels and I understand they tried to transition into Shia LeBeouf taking over but there can’t be a huge audience clamouring for an 80-year-old leading an action adventure movie. The original movie was almost 40 years ago and nobody is going to be as believable as an adventurer four decades…
Holy shit, how does Jimmy Carter’s grandson have such a punchable face?
You might want to Bing the name Donny Osmond. As soon as I saw that image I thought he’s the spitting image. The rest, no idea until I got to Travis, and year, NDT for sure.
Hard work and work not being fun is fine. Verbal abuse isn’t.
I do think what they’re doing is BS, but it just occurred to me how much our expectations have changed when it comes to entertainment access. Shows have always gotten cancelled and there was a time that unless something found a new life in syndication, that was it. It was gone.
Yup. Any movies I love enough that I want to make sure I can still watch whenever I want, I get on Blu-ray. The same goes for music. Nobody is knocking on my door taking it away because it’s no longer available on that platform.
