I’m honestly shocked Janelle Monáe isn’t another one, especially for anyone who has spent time on this site. She’s pretty famous these days and has been making a name for herself as an actor (she was really good in Hidden Figures and Knives Out.

On the other hand these are stories about people who have impossible powers dressed in skin-tight clothes who fight crime in a way that would be a nightmare for any criminal justice system that even tries to pretend to be constitutional.

It’s weird that they look like short adults. I presume they’re supposed to be younger than 10 but not actually babies which is confusing and not as funny. And why didn’t they make their hair and costumes more kid-like? No, I don’t like this at all.

I fully agree that the need for eternal growth is incredibly damaging. The stock market is a blight on humanity and capitalism without serious checks on it is, no hyperbole *gestures towards the climate crisis*, dooming us all.

This seems like a weird downplaying of what’s happening in Florida where the First Amendment is being cheerfully demolished. DeSantis has done a lot more successful work destroying his state than Trump ever did to your country in his four years of office.
