I don’t care if he’s Methuselah as long as he’s in reasonable health. I would hate for someone to hold Hillary’s brain surgery against her either. I am glad that Hillary has to fight to capture the nomination because frankly I found her to be pandering to the right way too much in the past for my taste.

He hasn’t lived there in like 50 years and her HQ is there now. And he dominates among young people. It is designed to make her look like an asshole either way, and it’s likely to work.

She runs very Republican campaigns... attack the opponent and their supporters, misrepresent positions or policies. It doesn’t play well with Democrats... or at least it didn’t in 08.

I would sincerely doubt there has been a primary debate in Brooklyn since the days of Alexander Hamilton.

Bernie supporter here. I’ve noticed a lot of fellow supporters treat the smallest perceived slight as the biggest personal insult they’ve ever heard. Some of em are downright paranoid. Honest policy questions are sometimes met with hostility. That shit needs to change.

it’s my fave Hillary too, but comes across as snide or arrogant to non Dems.

Hey look, Hillary Clinton playing transparent political games, who’da thunk it?

Hillary’s gentrifying campaign HQ is in Brooklyn. If she’s so salty, why can’t she debate Grandpa Bernie there?

Clinton only moved to ny specifically to run for senate in ny. She literally didn’t even purchase a home there until after she announced that she was running. Hardly, your “backyard”.

The problem isn’t that Bernie doesn’t want to debate - it’s that the DNC didn’t want to add any new debates and the Clinton campaign wouldn’t agree to more debates, but now that New Hampshire is coming up, Hillary Clinton is suddenly super interested in more debates.

In addition to what everybody else said, debates really only benefit the underdog. If the front runner comes out and kills it, she did what she was supposed to do and nothing changes. If she doesn’t kill it, she has the potential to lose ground. Thus why Hillary’s camp has been trying to make it so the debates air on

Just what we need, women menstruating all over our nice battlefields.

It would be purely a symbolic gesture, of course, but a good one. There is no draft, there hasn’t been a draft in 40 years, and the country wouldn’t put up with a draft, barring an invasion of the Brain Bugs from Andromeda. The Selective Service now is merely a phantom limb.

Bring it. I volunteered for my Army service, as part of my civic duty. I enjoy more freedoms as an American woman than women do in so many other countries—it’s only fair I be willing to sacrifice for it. Women are every bit as mentally tough as men.

Fine with me.

Hillary doesn’t really represent what I think of as feminism. She just plays the men’s game - plays it well, yes, but it’s not feminism. I had really hoped when the time finally arrived that a woman could be POTUS, things would be more equal between men and women, but I realize there’s no way she will be president

alternatively, get rid of selective service altogether. If a real emergency comes up, people will volunteer, and if not, there are places for those records anyway, such as the DMV.

Yeah, I don’t see the problem with this. And it is one of the constant arguments you hear from a certain segment of the population- if women truly want to be equal then they should have to register for the draft. Implying of course that women are the ones who had control over that decision.

As a woman, it is hard to argue for equality without agreeing that women should have to register. So bring it on. Give us the same rights and requirements as men.

I am a woman, and I don’t have a problem with this. Fair is fair.
