This is true, I do think that Cross is a deeply flawed game regardless of it’s relationship with Trigger. It’s clear they went into it with great enthusiasm, and they aspired to great heights, but they failed with equal vigor. The cast not being well developed was entirely a self inflicted wound. As this article

Respectfully, I don’t see how knowledge or lack of knowledge about Trigger ties into the game’s cast problem, script problem, map problems, or the uninspired use of its own time mechanic.
The problems with the games relationship to Trigger are merely the proverbial cherry on top.

Respectfully, I disagree. If one ignores Trigger, all that is left of Cross is a remarkably shallow experience. The cast was simply too large for adequate development, and many characters didn’t even receive their own lines during events. Your interaction with most of them boils down to recruit character, bring

Some interesting choices here. I loved Phantasy Star IV, but didn’t think much of its music beyond End of the Millenium. I would have swapped in Xenosaga, but I can’t get enough Yasunori Mitsuda.

In Overwatch, everyone loses... but maybe you can lose the most.

Clearly Super Saiyan Rose Gold is next (with Apple watch tie in).

Breaking news: Japanese Prime Minister’s Scandalous Interdimensional Affair with Fungal Royalty!

It’s possible but doubtful. In general they just have to attack every non-licensed use of their IP or it can limit their options in the future. For example, consider their recent take down of the Nintendo Power archive. It’s supremely doubtful they’re going to be reissuing those magazines, but they took them down

That’s a possibility, but it seems like your team mates would then be attacking you from the outset, which would give away the twist from the beginning. My understanding of the game’s flow is: setup, flashback gameplay, advance boss battle a bit, flashback gameplay, etc.

Since diamonds are essentially artificially expensive, what is the thought on getting rings with other precious stones for these events: emeralds, rubies, etc.?

It would be interesting if, by paying close attention through the flashbacks, you could discern that say, one of your party members was the actual big bad rather than the more obviously evil final form it looks like you’re supposed to fight. Perhaps then get the best ending by attacking your own party?

Keen, it’s the bit where they’re stuck outside Toha Heavy industries. That means we should get to see Cibo and Sanakan. I wonder if they’ll go inside this film, or cut it right as they enter for sequel bait.

I had a lot of fun with Ghostbusters: The Video Game. As a game it was nothing revolutionary, but it felt like the third movie we probably weren’t going to get. It also managed to connect the films in a way that I didn’t even know I’d wanted them to.

The part of Snake will be played by a piece of driftwood with some hair on it...

Lord British spreads his horcruxes throughout the realm.
Normally I’d have said phylactery, but he apparently made 6 of the things.

And somewhere, on his throne made of money and the broken dream’s of Halflife fans, Gabe smiled.

It’s hard to discern his motives here. Collectibles can be profitable, but it hardly seems to be in the same league as his previous antics. Cornering the market on these would involve a lot of individual purchases rather than say, going to an exchange. I wonder if he plans on doing something regarding the game itself?

Modders: “Where is your God now?”

Curses. I hoped the title heralded the return of a grid based Shining game.

I agree that this is censorship, or at least the apparatus by which censorship will be affected. However, I don’t think that China being particularly blatant about its censorship diminishes the evil of censorship elsewhere. This is, of course, just my opinion. Others may well think differently.
