My memories of the original are dim: it’s been many years. But I recall him feeling rather fragile, and some of the monsters quite durable. Here he seems to deliver suppressing fire until he can close distance and rip them apart with his bare hands.

The protagonist feels a might bit overpowered for a Doom game. But that’s just my opinion.
