My wife likes chili on her burger at Culver’s, and I’m convinced that no more than 6% of Culver’s workers know that there is a button for adding chili (for $0.50) to a burger on their register. It’s a fight to get them to do it, every time. They try to force us to buy a cup of chili. They tell us they can’t do it.

Has anyone tried offering them a lollipop?  Those cream soda Dum Dums are pretty fucking good.

I’m on board the “no sprinkles” train, but my wife is a rabid sprinkle lover. And it’s NOT because of the way they look. She loves the flavor of them. She will sit there with a soft serve cone and a plate of sprinkles and dip on the plate with every bite to ensure maximum sprinkles. Some people just like them.

Good, fresh pancakes are better than good, fresh waffles.

I totally disagree. The Arch Deluxe is the best burger McDonald’s has ever put out. It was better than pretty much any burger most of its competitors have put out as well. I would love one right now.

Um.... I don’t know how that was ever invented, but sour cream seems to work a lot of places you think it wouldn’t.  I guess if I can’t trust a random stranger on the internet who identifies as a madwoman, who can I trust?

I have not, I’ll have to give it a try.

Sopes are great, but I’ve never seen them as anything other than an “appetizer” at Mexican restaurants. We end up getting them almost every time we go to a Mexican restaurant that has them, either as an appetizer or as my wife’s meal. My favorite topping is shredded beef, and I had a ropa vieja sope from a Latin

Instant Ramen:  Drain pretty much all the water off of it, THEN mix the powder packet in.  The noodles get coated with this super salty, super savory coating that gives them a really intense flavor.

I actually tried one of these last night, and it was pretty fantastic. The best (non-fried) fast food pie I’ve ever tried.

I’d say the closest would be New York style, they were selling it by the slice.

I tried haggis on pizza from a street cart in Edinburgh once, and it was delicious.

Came here to say exactly this same thing.  Spot on.

The 1200 calorie diet was never intended for men, as far as I know.  Men have higher metabolic rates in general and burn more energy.  The equivalent for a guy is probably 1700-1800 or so.

If we’re trying things from Almost Sunny, I vote for Rum Ham.

You can get bottles of pumpkin juice at Universal Studios.  It’s basically pumpkin flavored apple juice.

Just FYI, you *can* get “the grey stuff” at the Be Our Guest restaurant at Disney World. I believe it’s some sort of sweet mousse.

Listen.  I hear you, and I’ve had a lot of bad fruitcake.  But it isn’t all bad, not everyone has such a delicate palate that they can’t handle a lot of flavors plus some alcohol flavor, and..... have ya tried slathering some butter on it?

A lot of the things people complain about with brunch are choices, not inherent to brunch.  Nobody is forcing anyone to get loaded at brunch.  Nobody is forcing anyone to go to a place where you have to wait 2 hours to get a table.  Nobody is forcing anyone to eat an entire day’s worth of food in one sitting.

Yep, Sweet & Sour and Hot Mustard was the best. Just like with egg rolls.
