Biden’s first act as President should be to commission a 60-foot tall statue of General William Tecumseh Sherman and then plop it down right in the middle of Piedmont Park. Who could object to that? It’s “history” right? I mean, how many people were as impactful on the history of Atlanta as General Sherman?  Maybe

I totally understand wanting to fight this fight. I’m saying it’s not worth it. Something something Sun Tzu.

I agree, that’s totally true about right wingers.

I do dislike Columbus.  Read it again.  I’m saying this is a fight that isn’t worth fighting.

That doesn’t sound like a bad idea, and I’m not saying Columbus should be honored. I’m saying this is a fight that isn’t worth fighting. The 2020 election showed us that the general public isn’t ready to get on board the full liberal train. We’re having a hard enough time getting states to tear down statues of guys

I was going to say the same.  He’ll resign and have Pence pardon him.

“Cheap” and “healthy” are both relative terms, and it obviously depends on how much you eat and what toppings you get. It’s more expensive than bargain basement hamburgers or tacos, but it’s healthier than both, especially if you load your sandwich up with vegetables. It’s cheaper than higher quality sub sandwiches,

I don’t think the people who made this map have ever eaten a PayDay bar.

Subway is is fast, cheap, and reasonably healthy. High quality ingredients don’t really go along withfast, cheap, and healthy,” so this is no surprise.

Yeah, some people’s definition of “fat shaming” borders on the absurd. “Here’s a way to lose weight and/or be healthy” isn’t fat shaming.

Ben & Jerry’s makes a Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream that is just fantastic.  It has a graham cracker swirl!

First, what this draft tells me is that none of the drafters have ever tried pumpkin cheesecake, or it would have been in the first round. That stuff is freaking delicious.

Pie is cooked from raw dough in its own pan, and generally the filling is cooked along with the pie.

That’s strange, it seems like meat is traditional based on what I’m seeing on the internet, but the places I have ordered it from have always served it vegetarian (or at least there was no detectable meat in it).

It’s on my list of things I’ve been meaning to do!

I never played this one as a kid.  I never even had a 2600, I had some knockoff Texas Instruments thing.  My roommate in college hooked his old 2600 up to our TV once though and asked me to try playing ET. For the life of me, I could not figure out what the point of the game even was. I can’t imagine anyone enjoying

Strangely enough, the first game that disappointed me ended up being one of my favorite games ever: Final Fantasy, the original US version. I had never played a true RPG before, and I expected there to be some involvement and control over the fighting beyond simply selecting “Attack” or “Magic.” The game cost $50 I

I am not a vegetarian, but if I was, I would spend a LOT of time eating at Indian restaurants and learn how to cook Indian food. Out of the top 20 vegetarian dishes I’ve ever had, I’d guess at least half of them are Indian dishes.

I agree, I just posted basically the same thing in another post.

I find that the “liquor then beer, in the clear; beer than liquor, never been sicker” thing is often true for me, but I don’t think it’s because there’s anything inherently bad about mixing drinks in the abstract. I think the problem is that when you start drinking liquor after you’re already drunk, it goes down too
