I don't know that it will default, but it is an option at that resolution

Why would you say such a thing? You are literally seeing this for the first time in full, have never used it, and are automatically blowing it off just because its different? How can you possibly "know" that the new interface is bad for every usability scenario imaginable?

All ten of which are obviously noticeable in the ribbon...

Actually the exacct point of the ribbon is that it is for the 98% of users who are just using a computer as a tool, not eh 2% of power users.

Currently they are working on adding ribbon to everything (for consistency) and there is a nice little button (or right click on the very top bar) that will let you minimize the ribbon into a drop-down ribbon menu thus recovering any perceived loss of space. Also, one of the things they did when designing the ribbon

Pretty sure that home screen is the real new "start" menu. I'm just saying that you guys are grasping at straw while missing the obvious fact that it has all of the programs pinned to it.

What specific qualities make it bad?

That man's balls must be so big they have their own gravitational pull.

Often time what's horrific for most is hilarious to others. Its mostly to do with being able to assert control over the masses.

Yes, but if they completely leave out the names of the terrorists we will remove any chance of genuinely understand why they did it, so that we can actively try to prevent it from happening again (through peace and understanding rather than two massive quagmires)

That is closest to what I wanted to know. I guess I just asked it in a round-about manner.

I know this may sound like and insensitive idea, but are the names of the terrorists on the memorial any where (possibly engraved in the bowls of the toilets)? I feel that its just as important that we not forget the horror that humans are capable of inflicting on others when we let our beliefs rule our lives.

I too was making the same joke with my Chrome reference ;-)

Then change the default search engine...? Also, its no different than Chrome using Google by default.

Why is South Korea of all places instigating this inquery? Don't Samsung and LG basically own the government in South Korea?

Sorry. yet another post made without the aid of coffee.

if they didn't have to pay billions up front to cover the benefits package then they wouldn't be in this whole.

I do. That's why I have Windows Phone for my phone, Android for my tablet, Windows on my laptop, Windows and Linux on my desktop, and Linux on my HTPC, and an old-ass ipod nano

Highly unlikely. Apple's iOS has no options for that option

I thinks its a bit more than speculation if the SFPD publicly states it has no knowledge of this visitation going down. I'm not saying that means its 100% true, but this is more then just random speculation.
