Isn't the Sony Ericsson the logo on the left?

2048x1560?!?!? I call bullshit. That is more pixels that a 1080p HD tv!

@phoghat: i am actually eating the same brand of pistachios as im watching this video

@friendlygummybear: cheating like this is easy and get page views. utilizing the full power of the hardware take time, and making software that is optimized to use that hardware take more time. Give it a few months and there will be plenty of whitehat uses for this.

@freethegoldfish: first of because we can (its a very big motivator behind most anything online), secondly, the cell processor is actually quite powerful, and using it for large simulations would be very handy (in the original PS3 you could not access the full processor and GPU in linux so it was very underpowered).

@Aklost: seems more like e-peen viagra to me ;)

I find the related articles very tasteless and somewhat offensive. One is about a humorous urn, and the other is a hippy coffin.

@Stevenson: they would have to have the same frequency, orientation, and my guess is that the charger communicates with the pad to tell it when to turn current on and off. I did more research and it is a proprietary setup that only works with powermat products. :(

but does power mat work with other inductive charging adapters out there?

@farker: even hawaii?!? wow!!

But I liked being a Gemini!!

wait there was snow all over the US last week?? So that's why my flight was 20 minutes delayed!! Some how I managed to travel between the parts of california and arizona with no snow at all

I thought the netbook was a recent invention? Also, that is an amazing piece of mechanical engineering design! I love it!

@jetRink: I believe that that is the implication. That sun rose early because such a large amount of ice was lost. This is not the first warning that the ice was lost just a very sudden and massive spotlight on the problem.

@916CALLTURK: So if i paint the leaves a different shade of green they can't see it? sweet!

@Ian Logsdon: if the heater was on all day it would be more than enough to heat the whole house, and when everyone is at work with their heaters off the rest of the houses look very dark by comparison.

This is a great idea until you lose picture because you placed the antennas in the wrong positions. My experience is that wireless signal can drop for various reasons, wires just work! Also, if you place the computer in a different room how do you (quickly and conveniently) turn on the computer or do a hard restart?

@Spoony Bard: because southwest is freaking awesome. They have some of the nicest, and most considerate staff I have encountered.
