@wjbean: oh i agree completely that the solution is very awkward at this point, but I think google's vision is that all the printer's at your office, your friends' and relatives' houses, and at the public library would be accessible to print from so that you could just print from the nearest printer that you are

@carrvin8: the backup is the part that died.

now is the time to buy stock in samsung. as the other major memory producer, they should have a nice juicy first quarter assuming they can meet demand

@wjbean: its not there. The google print thing basically uses your windows (for now) machine to act as a network print server so you "don't have to worry about drivers" (supposedly new printers will have the ability to be plugged straight into a router and will have google cloud print built in)

do you guys care if the desk is semi messy? would that impact the chances of getting chosen?

@KamWrex: my bestfriend has to hide 3 different alarm clock in different locations around his room each night and he still manages to turn them off in his sleep. it really depends on your personality.

putting the alarm out of reach only works for a few weeks, after a while your brain goes into autopilot with regards to snooze. I remember one day I managed to get off the top bunk, walk across the room, reset my alarm to an hour later, and get back into bed all without any conscious memory of doing so.

@Geisrud: there is a refresh key (i have the same feelings so i checked), it doesnt need alt-f4 (ctrl-w is the key for closing browser tabs), and it doesnt let you access the filesystem, so rename is useless.

@tomsomething: in order to even log on you must be connected because it uses your gmail as your log on

@wjbean: you would be using google printing

@mikehart526: first i need to graduate (3 semester left), but thats the plan. (were coming up on 2 years so I dont think a year and a half will be too much longer)

@SuddenImpact: yeah well its a long distance thing, so its not all sunshine and lollipops.

@m_faustus: i would charge people on the side to have plants named after them. friends are free

looks like plenty of biology grad students will have their thesis's already laid out in front of them. just gotta start categorizing

@SuddenImpact: but what if she could suck and cook really well? it really makes life wonderful

wait wiat wait. there is a company out there called cyberdyne??? and the british already have skynet. god dammit. its all coming true

@Yahweh Took My Prepuce: I think that is the best logic i have heard yet for having non-user replaceable batteries. well done

@Yahweh Took My Prepuce: I agree that a usb port would not go well on the ipad, because it is not meant to be a self-contained device, it is designed to be synced to a computer running a full desktop OS. I would not go so far as to say usb is bad on any tablet, it simply depends on the design intent of the tablet. The

@wookie1901: hehe. now all he needs is some carbonfiber
