In a few roles, it'd seem. Bill Napier, friend of the late father of reporter Luisa Rey, as well as Old Georgie, a trickster deity for a the primitive islanders of the far-flung future.

In the book, the protagonists' reincarnation is alluded to by a comet-shaped tattoo on their collarbone. In the film, it's done by casting each character in multiple roles. Which means we see Korean actress Doona Bae caucasian, Jim Sturgess look Asian, Hugh Grant look like a Tongan war chief, Keith David look like a…
That was an action setpiece moment. Is Uncharted 2 a horror masterpiece?
It looks like Inception's bastard kid with Blade Runner, who dropped out in the 6th grade. Loved it, even if I cringed a little at the line "I'm the hunter. Why am I being hunted?!"
Yeah, I mean, I got my $11 worth out of the Beck levels alone. Songs are so good, art is beautiful. Up there with Chime and Lumines as far as synaesthetic gameplay goes.
Fair enough points, I suppose, though I'd suggest that when a skilled player has a high percentage he's just as likely to turn tail and hide in the center of the stage (or under the grotto) as a player in PASBR afraid of a super (as far as "nothing but a run away from the guy with the super" - totally analogous to…
Exactly - it's almost like you read the post you replied to.
Yeah - I used to play Melee on a tournament level, and while I enjoyed Brawl as a drinking game, the trip algorithm and edgeguard changes fundamentally altered its competitive play. You should know, though, that Battle Royale does have a ring-out, Smash-style "Sumo Mode," so you may be able to edge-guard after all.
I'm pretty sure they will - there's a "Sumo Mode," which sounds like it's going to be a Smash-style, ring-out platformer.
I hear you about super attacks, but bear with me - it's an identical system to Smash's.
If the preview says there's no visible build meter, it's wrong. It's under your character - it's the meter that alerts you to what stage your combo has achieved. I think what the preview actually says is that there's no kill counter, which I think is in place to prevent ganging up on the first-place combatant. Or it's…
Cheer up, partner! It is a clone! But I hope that it is a better game in its own right AND inspires Namco to one-up this title with the new Smash. That series has no competition! Think about all the quarter-circle + punch / back to block fighting games there've been over the last 25 years, and how refined they've…
I think the game has the potential to be as competitive, depending on which options you have to alter the parameters of the fight. It's basically the same setup (build meter until you can launch an attack that kills instead of build opponent's meter until you can launch an attack with enough directional heft), except…
I've only ever really played the Smash games (at tournament level, mind you [breathes on badge]) 1v1 and with items disabled. It took a while, but I can see how this game will be just as great (or greater) with that same setup. Instead of building your opponent's meter and then using one of a few moves with enough…
You'll note that in my original post I wrote "That lowercase logo / also sporting a pastel." I was referring specifically to the "n," and I've got a really short fuse for people who contribute nothing to a thread except mistakenly point out errors in someone's text they didn't read (or didn't comprehend). I'm not…
"That lowercase 'Nintendo Network' logo..." If you'd like I can provide a definition of "logo" for you.
Personally I think that color combo would be a bit garish and out of place in a newborn's nursery, but to each his own.
I can't imagine a box art that would enhanced by this particular color scheme. Attention is completely lured away from it by those eyesore pastels.
The unsophosticated baby blue and unreflective yellow make the titles look like late 90's edutainment software. That lowercase "Nintendo Network" logo nearby also sporting a pastel doesn't help - it looks like the packaging could double as "Little Learner's My-First-Book Discount Series."
The box art looks like shovelware educational software. Maybe they'll rebrand their box design sooner rather than later.
