yeah, but is the water safe to drink? just because i works doesn’t mean it will be clean. i’ve been through natural disasters as well and we were told NOT to drink the water because it wasn’t treated due to lack of power (loss of power after a big storm). if the city water can’t be treated, you can get very sick.

Dunno, it seems like in every disaster, people are hording the water. So lack of water isn’t really surprising. Also, the house in the country could be on a gravity pump. My grandparents have that and they don’t need electricity to have it work.
