I’d imagine Disney/Marvel contracts make it impossible to just “step aside” and exit a production. 

Chris Pratt’s only crime as far as I can tell is being super religious. A bit creepy yeah, but so is half the country.

I’m about the same way, which is sad because I genuinely liked him back in his My So-Called Life days. Now he just seems completely insufferable and is a pox on every movie he appears in. 

I think the second weekend will be a big tell for Eternals. I’d expect a steep drop off.

Thriller is the GOAT Halloween song obviously, but I’ve also been listening to a lot of Werewolves of London this month. Ahooooooo!

This was like a much better version of FREAKY for me. Both obviously inspired by Friday the 13th,  but this one did it justice. 

I agree with you that the Ant-Man movies are the weakest of the MCU, but The Incredible Hulk is lousy too. 

I’m curious to see how this performs at the box office. A film with unknown characters, middling reviews, and a running time somehow longer than DUNE could do poorly, but I’m sure the Marvel branding will carry it to success. 

This is a good way to put it. Just last night I was walking down my hallway in my dark house, and the thought crossed my mind that Michael could suddenly appear from behind a door. Definitely made me walk faster.

This is an excellent review of an amazing album. “Paper Rings” and “I Think He Knows” are two of the giddiest and most delightful songs I’ve heard in years. They perfectly capture that rush and swoon of a new romance.

Anakin was portrayed as a teenager in the next two movies. It did not go better.

While I do think Angel’s final season is better than Buffy’s, people who think Angel is the better show overall are lunatics and should be promptly ignored.

Agreed about True Blood season 5. The first 4 seasons were so good! Then the way they treated Tara in the final season was so offensive that I was glad I stopped watching.
