Great, but why are we getting a review of this 2 weeks before we can see it?

Kanopy? A library?! These aren’t actual things that exist.

Much like Kevin James, the McElroy Brothers could fart into a mic for two hours and people would rush to turn it into a piece of entertainment. I’m so tired of them creating a new podcast every 5 minutes.

Not to sound insensitive, but if it wasn’t 13 Reasons Why driving them to suicide it would be some other piece of art. Instead of focusing on the art, which is completely harmless to 99% of people, we should be focusing on the terrible mental health resources we have in this country.

I think there’s a difference between “likely to watch” and “actively want to see.” Sure, I’d probably watch a new Back to the Future movie if it existed, but that doesn’t mean I want it to get made. It’s kind of like Venom. I know I’m going to watch it when it hits digital, but that doesn’t mean it ever needed to

I thought it was a lot of fun, but then I have zero attachment to the original Ghostbusters.

The new Robin Hood proves that Hollywood has yet to learn a very simple lesson: nobody cares about your public domain characters from hundreds of years ago. Nobody wants a new Robin Hood movie, a new King Arthur, a new Tarzan, etc. However, I would like at least 10 more Freddy and Jason movies so somebody get on that

Yeah, the “both sides are basically the same” argument isn’t going to fly around here. They’re not, and if you think they are you’re being willfully ignorant.

You think The AV Club has time to click on TWO links to verify a news story? They’re busy journalists!

Homecoming is an Amazon show, not a Netflix show.

This is the new season without Mary, Mel, and Sue. The show is still fantastic though. Hasn’t lost a step.

The Shape of Water will be one of those Best Picture winners like Shakespeare in Love, Crash, or The Artist where we look back and wonder just what the hell the Academy was thinking.

Okay, I laughed at “lives in Portland so probably WHITE.” I do agree that the lack of diversity around here has been a problem for a long while now.

“Do you honestly believe there is something wrong with the brains of white men that make our views on such films irrelevant?”

As a gamer who REALLY doesn’t care about Destiny, I’m not sure if I would recognize it if I saw it either. I might think it was Anthem or something.

I always liked Jennifer’s Body, but after listening to a Faculty of Horror podcast episode about it I truly loved it. Two horror-loving women dissecting all the intriguing feminist themes in that movie really made me see it in a new light. It’s fantastic.

Well, it also deserves to win, so there’s that.

I’m sorry...we’re supposed to like him now because he was going to say “retard” but came up with Down’s Syndrome instead? What a prince. Also, apologizing for an “unforgivable” offense that happened about a day ago has to be a new record. People sure do grow and change quickly when they have a Netflix show to promote.

Unfortunately, I’ve barely made any progress in the Spider-Man story because I’m obsessed with collecting backpacks, taking pictures of landmarks, and unlocking towers. I’m usually not a “clear everything off the map” kind of person, especially with overstuffed monstrosities like Witcher 3, but Spider-Man has juuuuust

I don’t see the Michael B. Jordan thing happening, but if it did would he be the first actor to star in Marvel, DC and Fox comic book movies? He just needs a Sony Spider-Man cameo to get the comic book EGOT.
